Lighting is something we would find hard to live without and contributes to 20% of the average homes power usage. There are many bulb replacement schemes and ways to decrease usage but we have taken it a step further and increased saving by a number of different ways.
LED Lighting
Light Emitting Diodes or commonly known as LED’s are the new cutting edge technology.
Savings
LED’s can now produce the same light output saving 60% power. We have personally engineered and sourced each LED fitting to build a wide range and meet client demands.
Products
Our collection ranges from down lights to streetlights and all specifications and savings can be viewed on our online catalogue.
Quality
As an electrical based company we have selected the best quality products and visited our manufacturers in China to make sure the high Quality Assurance we demand is achieved. We have also identified issues with 240V LED tubes, their extremely unsafe construction and redesigned a safer and more superior fitting. We have a full LED showroom at our Melbourne office, please arrange for a meeting.
Dimming
Dimming lighting is not only a way to change a mood within a room but also saves a large amount of power if used correctly. Normal household dimmers are a perfect example and we use this theory along with new technology to manage lighting systems.
How
By installing a dimmer control on your fluorescent lighting we can automatically change the light output according to the room’s brightness.
Where
This is a great idea for areas with large windows and offices where natural daylight is used. Also factories can benefit from this with skylights and we can install solutions which control lighting according to the brightness within the area.
Occupancy Sensing
Occupancy sensing is a method where we can install a scanner on your lighting system to identify if people are in the area.
How
If the area is vacant for a set period of time the sensor can turn certain lights off until someone enters again and generates movement.
Extra
This method is extremely affective and common but we can take it to one level further and add the dimming control to the sensor. This can now dim lighting in areas depending on the area’s brightness as well as turn off lighting while the area is unoccupied.
Building Management Systems
BMS as it is commonly known as is a method we use to control buildings and manage their power and lighting systems.
How
They can be controlled by a number of ways varying from key switching, automatic timers, and alarm panel control to a fully functioning user interface control panel.
Where
This method is extremely affective and common but we can take it to one level further and add the dimming control to the sensor. This can now dim lighting in areas depending on the area’s brightness as well as turn off lighting while the area is unoccupied.
