Coles and SEDAC: Delivering Seamless Critical Electrical Infrastructure Upgrades Across Australia

Since 2015, Coles Group Limited, a leading Australian retailer with over 860 supermarkets, has partnered with SEDAC on the critical Coles Critical Compliance Project (CCCP). This nationwide initiative involves the systematic upgrade of essential switchboard infrastructure across numerous store locations.

The hallmark of the CCCP is its meticulous planning and flawless execution, ensuring zero disruption to Coles’ daily operations. Power shutdowns are strategically orchestrated during non-trading hours, with comprehensive risk mitigation strategies in place to protect critical systems. SEDAC implements temporary backup power solutions, including generators, to guarantee an uninterrupted power supply to vital equipment, especially refrigeration, thereby maintaining uncompromising food safety standards.

SEDAC’s deep engineering expertise and proactive project management have been instrumental in the successful and timely completion of all CCCP upgrades within budget. Crucially, every project has been delivered without any impact on store trading activities or the quality of temperature-controlled inventory.
